Phone Number Spoofing Scam

We have become aware of recent fraudulent phone calls targeting customers and impersonating our institution and our fraud department.

In some cases, scammers are able to make it appear as though the call is coming directly from one of our phone numbers or even from our main line. This practice is known as phone number spoofing and can make fraudulent calls appear legitimate.

These individuals may attempt to:

  • Request online banking credentials, passwords, PINs, or security codes.
  • Ask you to provide debit card information or account details.
  • Instruct you to approve or deny transactions or wire transfers.
  • Pressure you to act immediately to prevent alleged fraud on your account.

Please remember:

  • We will never call you and ask for your online banking password, secure access codes, or PIN.
  • We will never ask you to approve or deny a wire transfer or transaction that you did not initiate.
  • If you receive an unexpected call requesting sensitive information, hang up immediately.
  • If you are unsure whether a call is legitimate, end the conversation and contact your local branch directly.
  • If you believe you may have provided information to a scammer or approved a fraudulent transaction, please contact us immediately.

We encourage all customers to remain vigilant and to treat unsolicited requests for sensitive information with caution.
