Your accounts with us will already be available, and you will need to add the external account you plan to transfer to or from. You can add a new account using the Add a New Account link here or in the Manage Accounts Tab. Once an external account is verified, you can begin transferring money. Next, enter the date you’d like to send the money. If it’s recurring, select the frequency. And if you’d like, include a memo. Then Review. If everything is correct, confirm it. Next, for an added layer of protection, you may be asked to verify your identity by receiving a verification code on your phone. Just select how you’d like to receive your code. Then depending on your choice, you’ll soon receive either a text message or phone call. Simply enter this code to verify your identity. That’s it. From the Activity tab, you can review your transfer activity at any time. By default, the list will display all transfers for the selected time frame. You can filter your list to show those that match a selected criteria and use the slider to narrow or expand the date range. Each transfer displays the send date, whether or not it’s recurring, the accounts, status, and the amount. Expanding a transfer displays the details, Including the reference number, fees, and other details. Transfers that have a status of pending can be edited. If it’s recurring, you can make changes to all remaining transfers or just the next pending transfer.
Manage Accounts lets you manage which accounts are available for transfers. Expanding an account displays the details and lets you delete it or make changes. To add an external account, begin by selecting the account type. Choose a nickname, then enter the financial institution’s routing number and your account number. Next, you’ll be asked to verify ownership of the account. This is done one of two ways. If you know your login credentials for online banking at the other financial institution, you can verify your account instantly, or we can verify the account using test deposits. This is a simple three-step process. Once you click Start, we will make two small deposits into the account you are adding. Within a couple of days these two test deposits will be credited to your account. Once you locate these deposits in your transaction history, log back in. and return to the Manage Accounts page. Locate your new account, and select activate now. Then just enter the amounts of the test deposits. That’s all it takes. The account is now activated, and it will appear in your drop down lists. Keep in mind that you cannot transfer money between two outside accounts. One of the accounts must always be with us.
